AFTER SCHOOL STUDY CENTREDear Parent /Guardian, Canley Vale High School has a Study Centre which operates after school hours in our library. The aims of this centre are as follows: • Helping Students with their homework and assignments. The Study Centre operates on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons each week from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm (1 hour 15 minutes). Students will be assisted by two teachers with their homework if they require help. Students’ attendance will be monitored, using an attendance card. Teachers will initial their card when they attend. You, the parent or guardian, must also initial the attendance card each time. Lack of attendance by student may result in his or her place declared vacant. Students are required to abide by the set of rules set out below. If students do not follow directions from teachers or any of the rules, their place may be declared vacant from Study Centre. In the event of a problem, students could be sent home early before completion time. Study Centre Rules: The Study Centre application form is to be completed and given to Mrs Best or Mr Steinmetz in their office in A Block.
