The use of school computers must be in support of education, research and educational goals of Canley Vale High School |

Rules and Guidelines |
| • I will only use the Internet for educational
research purposes • I will not use email unless it is under direction of a teacher for educational purposes • I will never reveal any home address, phone number, names and addresses of family members or other students • I will not send anonymous messages; all e-mail must be clearly identifiable as to its originator • I will not access chat lines or similar • I will notify the teacher if I find inappropriate material on the internet • I am aware of the legal requirements regarding copyright • I will not plagiarise other people’s work. • I will not download any programs from the internet • I will never attempt to physically deface or disable the computer or change its configuration • Any inappropriate behaviour around the computer will result in loss of usage privileges • I will not use disks on school computers unless under teacher supervision. |
| Printing Printing costs outside specific lessons are: Black – 20c a copy Colour – 50c - $2 a copy depending on the amount of colour |
| I have read the policy and agree to use the computers according to these
rules and conditions. I understand that if I willfully break any of the
conditions listed above, I may lose my usage privileges and disciplinary
action may also be taken.
